Guests staying at Kayumanis Sanur get to enjoy tasty home-made cookies to snack on when they check into the comfort of their private villa. These sweet treats are a symbol of our warm hospitality and adored by absolutely everyone. Therefore, we are sharing the recipe along with a list of easy to follow instructions.


375 gr butter

300 gr white sugar                                                                                                                                                

3 eggs                                                                                                                                              

300 gr plain flour                                                                                                                                  

125 gr raisins                                                                                                                                

115 gr cornflakes (for cookie mixture)                                                                                        

200 gr cornflakes (for coating)


*Beat the butter and sugar using a hand mixer until creamy white (about 10 minutes).                  

*Add the eggs one by one until the mixture is well-blended and rises slightly.                                      

*Fold the flour into the mixture by hand.                                                                    

*Add the raisins and cornflakes and blend by hand.                                                              

*Refrigerate the mix for about 30 minutes.                              

*Shape the mixture into small balls (weighing about 20 gr each).                                          

*Spread the remaining cornflakes on a tray and gently roll each ball on top for a coating.                

*Place each ball on a tray lined with greaseproof paper.                                                                

*Bake in an oven at 140 ° C for 30 – 45 minutes or until golden brown.
