Kayumanis Group Hosts Appreciation Party

Kayumanis Group had the pleasure to host a stylish Appreciation Party on 22nd January 2010 to acknowledge the outstanding support of travel agents and media representatives over the past year. The event took place in the manicured garden of Kayumanis Jimbaran under the shadows of a grove of dancing coconut trees.

Invited guests from within the travel industry were warmly welcomed upon arrival by an entourage of Kayumanis staff members. Small groups were personally escorted on a tour around the property to inspect the design and décor of selected villas as well as Tapis Restaurant. This also included a preview of a private villa set up for a romantic dinner with a floating platform over the pool adorned with tropical flowers and flickering candles.

Following the tour, guests had the opportunity to socialise with colleagues representing some of the finest travel agencies on the island of Bali. A spa corner under the trees invited guests to sample a 10-minute replenishing shoulder massager performed by the therapists of Kayumanis Spa. This initiative was a great success as many invitees had come to the party directly from a long day at the office.

The event was also an opportunity for Kayumanis Group to formally introduce its newly restructured corporate Sales & Marketing team along with the General Manager appointed at each property.

However, the main agenda of the party was to present a series of awards to the best supporters within each travel market category for 2009. The list of winning agents included; HIS, APA Tour, Bali Kami, PACTO, Best Tour, Look Asia, Go Vacation, weddingku.com and checkinbali. Finally, DestinAsian also received special recognition for providing the most outstanding media support

It was an evening of wining and dining featuring superb Indonesian and International cuisine prepared by the Kayumanis F&B team. Individual food stations were scattered around the garden adding to the relaxed mood of the occasion.

Entertainment during the party was provided by an orchestra made up of Kayumanis staff members. They played a lively repertoire of classic Balinese tunes as well fusion music with an ‘east meets west’ flavour. The performance by this in-house band was just another example of how Kayumanis Group takes great pride in showcasing its local talent.

Upon leaving, each guest was presented with a Kayumanis agenda and a basket of homemade cookies that have become a signature of sister property, the gangsa. A candlelit pathway lined with parking valets marked the end to a thoroughly enjoyable evening hosted by the gracious team of Kayumanis Group.
