Inspired by the harmony of a traditional Balinese village, Kayumanis Sanur takes travellers on a sensory journey where guests get a real feel for the island and its rich cultural heritage. Gong Restaurant is an essential part of this whole experiential concept in that it serves authentic Balinese cuisine driven by local ingredients. Housed within a pavilion overlooking the garden, this dining venue was recently refurbished to bring it in line with the Kayumanis brand.
A number of aesthetic changes were made with a distinct focus on projecting tropical elegance. A local artist created a series of decorative wall panels depicting scenes of daily village life. Upgraded furnishings, customized light fixtures and the addition of potted plants have also made a visible difference.
Named after a classic Balinese instrument, Gong Restaurant has positioned itself to delight diners with a menu of exotic dishes infused with local herbs and spices. Signature offerings include Pork Ribs and Crispy Duck cooked and served with meticulous attention to detail.
Gong Restaurant now gives Balinese food a well-deserved platform and is open daily for the pleasure of in-house guests as well as outside visitors. Complimentary transportation is available within the Sanur area.
