Omed-Omedan Kissing Ritual

Omed-omedan is a unique kissing ritual that will place following Nyepi Day on 29^th March 2017 in the village of Sesetan. Young males and females from the local community will be lifted up and forced to kiss before being doused with buckets of water. This event is supposedly an expression of joy for the first day of the Balinese New Year.
